^^^If you ask me an ipod will suit your headset well. Not completely but to some extent.
Apart from all the hype around it, the ipods are actually better than most music players out there. I am not even getting into the extras. Only music. They have received 9/10 in many reviews based on sound alone which goes down to overall 8/10 or 8.5/10 for their poor VFM. [touch]

Not really inclined to shell out on ipod.

No issue. Rather, I am referring to the chips used. They are the same as their XMS3 counterpart(same batch from manufacturer. IIRC, they only make the blue fin one now).

The blue fin one uses a different batch which is better than the vengeance counterpart (better to OC).

The first generation Doms and Dom GTs (when DDR3 became viable) were the best. Too bad the manufacturer stopped making those chips.

Rs.1240. Total VFM product. FM radio+Torch( ) and it's a good phone for Rs.1240. These features used to cost Rs.4k around 3 years back.
