Congrats mate. Nice purchase. Get some xbox 360 exclusives like halo series, and the gears of war series. Great games.

@ eagle06

Excellent purchase buddy. Gtx 560-ti is a beast when overclocked. But you well get great performance in stock as well. The psu is more than sufficient. Antec is a very good brand. Enjoy fullhd gaming.

Well guys, my Crossfire dream comes true at last. Last Saturday I've purchased the following things:

Sapphire HD 6870 1 GB @ 11.9K + 4%vat
Razor Goliathus MousePad (Control version) @ 0.5K all
Seagate 500 GB External @ 2.45K all.

The card is yet to be installed in my system. Lets see what 2XHD 6870 can do.

Welcome to the club. The MSI 890GXM-G65 is well spaced out in terms of the PCI.E docks. There should be a good gap between the cards. Enjoy full maxed out games now.

Though please do not try Crysis 2 and be irritated. You will get big time stutter on HDR and bloom. Can tell you a fix for that when ever.

Also start reading up guru3d forums. Those guys are the xFire kings...!

asingh, thanks mate. Ya, although MSI 890GXM-G65 comes with MATX form factor, its layout is very good and I've checked before purchasing...2 HD 6870 is not a problem to be placed. However, as usual, the PCI slot will be covered.

And regarding Crysis 2, I think AMD has released a profilec along with their 11.3 Catalyst driver to resolve the issues you've mentioned.

Finally give up. Can't bring a UPS from Kolkata to Patna. Instead purchased a Microtek 800VA 2 battery double power+ UPS @ 2500/- including VAT.

I have the same UPS. Currently functioning as Power Strip only. But it served me well for more than 5 years. Replacing the batteries with Exide ones will cost over 1800.
