Yeah, those cylinders are frame sliders. There is always a risk of side fairings getting damaged even when bike falls while on stand. But these are pretty costly. Browse some indian bike forums to get the idea where to procure these from.
Ask in xbhp forum if one can get frame sliders.

Sorry buddy, wanted to take good high resolution snaps of the tyres from an old Coolpix S52 but it was outta battery & I have lost the charger. I went around looking for a charger but none of the shops had it. So you'll have to be contend with the snaps from my cell phone. When I get the charger for my coolpix I'll post better quality snaps of the rear tyres.

Though the rear tyres on R15 v2 aren't as big as the ones in FZ and FZS but they are big enough to make the bike look better.
