hottest news is that 580 and 570 are out and its been said that they run cool now..
but as usual the price is up high and performance slightly better than ati's 6870.
so even now ati remains the leader when the price and performance ratios are considered..
hope the new releases of 6970 and 6950 from ati shall be good.
but its been said that gtx 580 is better than the 6970..

Gtx 580 and 570 are far better than 6870 not slightly. They are some 40% faster than 6870 and thats not slight. Gtx 570 even battles with a 6850 cf setup.

Being a single gpu card, the benches tell its capabilities.

someone of this forum brought a GTX580 last month than how come you say its still to be launched? it'll take time for GTX570 to appear here. i'll say just before 2010 ends, we should have GTX570 at least in SMC.

I have already posted the Indian price of Zotac GTX580 on 10th Nov. Thats nearly a month now. So its safe to assume GTX580 is available now.

BTW GTX570 is expected anytime next week.:smile: --->My next upgrade :grin:

but better wait and see the price go down with the launch of amd's 69xx...
