HDD specifications.

Expected Price : SOLD

Time of Purchase : around nov 2011(old one which i sent for RMA)

Indian warranty valid/Remaining Warranty period: Yes/ till nov 2013

Reason for Sale : Having 1TB which is more than enough for me.

Purchase Invoice Available: no

Product Condition : New sealed pack.

Accessories Included : None as nothing came with it.

Product Location : Udupi,Karnataka.

Preferred Courier : DTDC or other on buyer's request with genuine reason.

Shipping Charges : Free(if it is with DTDC).

Payment Options : online Bank transfer,direct cash deposit.

PS:
-It is an brand new sealed pack HDD returned from RMA three days before.
-the date of purchase mentioned above is for the Old HDD which i sent for RMA.
-Hdtune pro screen shot not included as i haven't opened the seal yet.will post the screen shot on confirmation from buyer.
-Healthy negotiation is accepted but not trolling.
-extremely sorry for bit low quality pics.

Dude, u need to revise ur price. Brand new in the market is selling for 3400/- as of today.

And this HDD is RMA'ed.

thanks for your suggestion buddy but i don't know where you got those prices and when the HDD price fell like that.it may be a RMAed but still has more warranty than what you can get with a new drive and even it is a brand new only difference is that it is just not selling in a retail shop.

don't know.why?
to check it with HDtune,I have to open the seal and install it in to my computer.most probably it is 512byte.(because my another seagate 1TB HDD which i got as replacement is also 512byte).so just a guess work.
ok i did some googling and found that all the HDD seagate shipped after jan 2011 are 4K setor compliant.so i really don't know why my new 1TB is shown as 512byte.

I am trying to find out in seagate website.for now what i found was that particular model(ST500DM002) HDDs may have 512 or 4k sector.so according to me that HDD which i am having is 7200.12 means barracuda 12th generation and the recent ones are 14th generation and all the 12 generation HDDs including my 1TB are 512bytes sector size and those which are released recently 13 and 14th generations are may be 4k sector size.so i think it must be 512byte.
If you are interested in buying then i can open the seal and check it with windows.

it is not a problem to me if the courier service is available to that place then i am more than happy to send it to orissa:-D.btw pulkitpopli2004 has shown interest in buying will confirm it with him.if he backs out then will PM you.thank you.:wink:
