Seen Many People Get Help Here... So here I AM!! :)

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Gaming(All Latest games mainly FPS like CODMW3, BF3, CRYSIS etc. ) And a Lot of Photoshop, Illustrator, Auto CAD, Maya....

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 14k-15k(for MotherBoard+Processor+GFX+RAM+SMPS)

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: NO

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: I already have a WDC 500GB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: I have a 17in Monitor, 1280x1024, will save for 20+in later

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Case, Speakers, Monitor, KeyBoard, Mouse

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Anytime soon

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Local Shops in Jaipur, or Flipkart

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:
Here is what I am planning to go with

i3 2120 = 6950 (local price) 122$
Intel DH67CL = 5400(local price) 98$
Corsair 4 GB RAM = 1350(flipkart) 23$= 13700-2700(Sale of Old mobo, processor, ram) = 11000. Keep the balance 4000 and save for a better GFX and PSU later

I will keep the case from my old PC, 17in CRT Monitor resolution 1280x1024(i know pretty lame), Speakers, Mouse Keyboard etc

or I have another option

All prices from flipkart. Maybe available cheaper locally.

Intel Dual Core G620 = 3466 60$
+
Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2H Motherboard = 3168 55$
+
MSI AMD/ATI R6770-MD1GD5 1 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card = 6863 120$/ OR A STANDARD LED Monitor for same 6800(120$)
+
Corsair 4 GB RAM = 1350 23$
+
Crosair CMPSU-430CXV2UK 430 Watts PSU = 2536 44$

Total 17390-2700 = 14990 (263$) Later Save for a LED Monitor.

My questions
1. Which build is better?
2. Should i get a LED Monitor Now or Get the GFX.
3. How is the performance of G620 and will it bottleneck 6770.
4. Is it worth investing in i3 now without GFX or get some new processor+motheboard after a year or two..??
I have to keep this rig for atleast 2 years before any further upgrades, unless i save for a monitor. Will the G620 sustain me till then..??

Thanks.

Your Budget is too tight buddy.
Core I3 2100 @ 6.3K
ASUS P8H61 M LX @ 3K .
CORSAIR 4 GB Value Ram @ 1.2K
CORSAIR CX430 V2 @ 2.3K
ZOTAC GT 240 1 GB GDDR5 @ 3.7K
Total @ 16.5K
Or
Change the processor and mobo to this one.
AMD Phenom 2 960T @ 7K
ASUS M5A78L M LX @ 2.5K
Total @ 16.7K.
Buy the Second Option . Wait till other members suggest something better.

My budget is tight because, its my first own built PC. And its my "12th Boards" year. I dont trust myself with heavy machinery in this crucial time
I am upgrading now because I cant live with my Pentium D(its built when i knew nothing of Hardware)

Here is another Option, as i am gaming at 720p resolutions.

Why not i5 2500k = 13250
+ Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2H Motherboard = 3168
+ Corsair 4 GB RAM = 1350
= 17768 - 2700 = 15068

I know this mobo cant OC the "K" processor, but it will save me from a processor upgrade for the next 4-5 years.
Can I live with HD3000 Graphics, till i save enough for a GFX+PSU???

And I may get it cheaper locally...

I5 2500K Has to be Paired Only with the P67 or Z68 or Z77 Chipset Motherboard . The Mobo you have Chosen is H61 Chipset . Better get I5 2500K + Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 = 22.6K . Or Stay without OC with this one I5 2400 + DH67CL B3 = 16.5K .

i5 2500k + h61 is highly unbalanced. And HD 3000 isn't that good. It might run games at 1024x768 and 1280x1024 at low or mid settings at playable fps. If you want, then get i5 2400(10.8k) + msi h67ma-e35 (4.7k).

I know 2500k has to be paired with a big ol P or Z series processor to use the 'K' factor...
But since you have seen I am right now very tight on budget and stretching everything to make it to 15k, i am just a student
My machine needs a big upgrade
I have a 17in Monitor with 1280x1024 resolution
so i believe i can use HD 3000 on 2500k for this year and save for a big GFX and SMPS upgrade later on.
As this is a pretty heavy processor guys, if i can use a shitty Pentium D for 4Years, Hell yeah i can use 2500k for 5-6 years
Talking about overclock, maybe after a year or two i can use some P, Z mobo and a cheap after market cooler to buff this beast up and keep it up to the standards after 2-3 years...

Is it a nice solution???

Then why don't you get a Phenom II X4 960T + Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 + HD 6670 GDDR5. That config is more than enough for your needs. If you are lucky then you can also unlock the Processor to a 6 core Phenom II X6 1605T. A couple of members are here were able to unlock it.
If you want more performance the just buy a standard CPU cooler and overclock the Processor to 4 GHz + for getting more performance.

Hey Man! Thanks
1. I never looked at an AMD Build, but I loved the motherboard you recommended, its basically future proof. CrossfireX, USB 3.0, Sata 6GBps

2. But After the processor, ram, a PSU... There is no budget left for GFX and a CPU cooler.

3. Plus I have very less idea, infact no idea about AMD Processors and how they perform.

Keep the fact in mind that I may have another 8 months without a discreet GPU!

thanks. You have made me open to AMD also.. :p

I have a local UMAX 450W PSU. Wanted to know if it was sufficient.

Not Bad ,get an i3 2100 @ 3.1GHz because it is a sandybridge which means low power and more power efficient will survive for an 3-4 year So getting an i5 make no sense(im not opposing you) Core i3 2100+Gigabyte H61M-D2H is more better in a tight budget
