Done but guys advice me on the configuration

AMD phenom 2 940 by launching in INDIA end of FEB/09 or mar/09 the price of 940 is 12000/- "AMD reduced" check on the newegg

If u get phenom 2 940 for gaming u sure wont be disappointed .


Dont get BIOSTAR mobo its not stable one get the

if u r going for future crossfire

then MSi K9A2 Platinum v2 supports 4 GPUs - 8700/-

if u r not going for crossfire then choose - ASUS M3A79 mobo - 5300/-

both the boards are stable for better OCing , phenom 2 940 needs better OCing board

But K9A2 Platinum V2 has only SB600 mate where as i'm looking SB750 as its better for overclocking

But both Phenom 920 and 940 overclock to the same, and dun spend the xtra 2-3k on the 940, get the 920.

And get the Jeyway Hummer HA06 780G mobo instead for Rs.5000

But I heard that Jetway mobos heat sink is not so good.

So I think it's wise to get Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H. It's Rs. 5K &
Phenom 920 as you mentioed.

Already have an 19'' Wide-screen View sonic with DVI...yet to get the GPU to complete the Dragon as ATI is gonna refresh their range soon...will get in a month or two
