Making Static HTML into Wordpress

Hey!

I have made this website www.bleedlaw.com. Now i wanted to transform this into Wordpress. So I installed Wordpress in XAMPP and have made the entire site in it. Now my question is if I make a Database in my hosting with same name , password etc as used in for XAMPP.

Then upload the files in root directory will it work? Also do i need to upload the wordpress directory in root folder or files of wordpress directory in root folder?

PS - I am using Bold Theme by Elegant Themes if it matters.

Well, I am not clear about the password and database you created for XAMPP but what I insist is you create a separate database and username for one you want to use for Wordpress. Further you have to upload all those files and sub folders which you find in the Wordpress directory to the root of your server where you want to install the Wordpress CMS.
