Low GFX subsystem Performance

I run 128mb 333mhz RAM and 1gb 400mhz DDR RAM and get about 20 fps in HL-2 (on my onboard graphics,that is).Should I remove the 1gb RAM and see the result.??

Do what my brother suggested.

Even if the Ram modules are of same speed but are of different brands then the difference in architecture might cause problems.

Easier said than done,well........theoretically rams of different architectures should work but practically life's a bit different.Have u ever tried using corsair DDR2 667/800 MHz ram with the cheapest DDR2 667/800 Mhz ram u can find in the market.There are a lot of other things that matter too,ya...........u guessed it right.....that's related to ram architecture.
