my sony vaio vpceb44en lcd has cracked...i called sony service and they quoted 11000rs....i dont have that much money...now what should i do? plss help me as am a student...

Yeah, screens are expensive. Use an external monitor, if you have one.

what about the duplicate one's? that one is costing 4500 but i doubt it will perform the same way

you have rightly doubted. I will never take a chance with laptops considering they are a huge investment for most people. Its best to go with original screens.

Few months back, my office friend also faced the same issue. In fact she paid 11k for LCD Display.
If you have a spare monitor, then use the external monitor otherwise now way out TBH.
