I need a 600W SmpS!

Hey friends,
Please help cause m buying a HD 6790 I have to by a good SmpS.
But my budget is only around 2K! :-(
Please guys help me and suggest me a 600W PsU within 2.5K but it should not be risky. :)
My specs are...
AMD Athlon II x4 635 2.9Ghz, 4Gb ddr3 RAM, WIN 7, 500Gb Hdd, Hd 6790.
And you must be having a question with it that why m I buying 600W but it will need 500W... The thing is I will cross fire it soon ! :grin:
PLease HELP ! :)

For Crossfire of HD 6790, I think 600W will be a borderline case, better opt for a little higher wattage to be on the safer side.

You would think eh , 2k SMPS and 4k SMPS no difference but Corsair is top quality it can even be sufficient for 6870.

^^ +1 for Corsair GS600 - don't be skimpy on this - for a multi gpu setup a quality PSU is always recommended ;-)

Why do u want to go for HD 6790. Its a very power hungry card and even uses more power than HD 6850. So, its better you spend 1k more and get a HD 6850. And get FSP SAGAII 500W at 2k, its sufficient for 6850. IMO SAGAII 500W cant power a 6790 efficiently.

there's no point it going for a CX600 as the price diff is very little ;-)

II think Op has a HD6790 and he is planning to get another HD6790 later but right now he want to buy PSu which will handle the future multi gpu config of 2 HD6790s properly ;-)
