This is my PC config

P IV 3.2 GHz
1 GB DDR 400 RAM
FSB 800 MHz
XFX 6200 256 MB nVIDIA Graphics Card
Dell E248WFP 24" LCD Monitor
80 GB Seagate 7200 RPM PATA HDD

I always play Fifa 06 and simultaneously download stuff.

Will this affect the performance of my PATA HDD anyway ?

Not at all.I used to download stuff & play heavier games than this in my friend's cafe.The config was a rusty AMD 2000 XP,256MB RAM & 40GB PATA HDD.No effects till now.
