actually no competition over here

Htc Explorer is clear winner..

first there is a thread for phones under 10K you should have posted there even if you had read couple of last pages then you new which is best..:)

Explorer beats Galaxy y and I don't know specs of Karbon A9 and I will not consider it anytime.. so did not waste time finding..

Go with HTC explorer. Its a nice phone and my little-brother has it. Very good touch response.
I think its price is below 9k

karbonn A9 has the best specs.. but go for HTC Explorer... as its been tried and tested by many users. Trustworthy. Something i cant say for Karbonn A9.
Galaxy Y is good, but behind Explorer in both performance and price. Ur budget should guide ur decision.

IF you can consider above 10K then it would be xperia mini way better then both at 12K around I guess

well if it is then good news for op, I was looking it last week as even I wish to buy one.. will soon make a thread according to my requirements.. so I checked that at saholic it shows 11199 and at 91mobiles it shows Rs.10,890 did not checked it on ebay neither on sony showroom, will go there in couple of days.. after which I will start my thread.. if needed

but xperia mini has heating issues and button sensitivity issues .. which are unsolved till now but It does get right after visiting service center once as read comments..
