Hi Guys,

It relates to Cyberlink Power DVD. How to see the Chapters and their sub titles of DVD videos when we use the DVD on the player.

use KMplayer/SPlayer but if the DVD has no subtitle you can rip it to HDD [ acc to movie title ], play the ripped and transcoded movie file using SPlayer and search for subtitle and download as per your choice.

Hmm .. never heard of UMPlayer [SMPlayer also do the same ] - got to give it a try. Thanks for the name.

BTW, is there any media player which can fetch subtitles from multiple websites but not only from opensusbtitles ?

Simply copy/paste the name of the video file for which you want to download subtitles in google, and add ownload subtitle safter that. Search.

Welcome, I found it is Cnet's top downloaded list some 2 years ago. UMplayer is more efficient. You can choose the language as well or set a default language.

tested with AllPlayer- Installer is ~45MB+ [ but can't play flv what a shame ! ], has feature like Matching subtitles downloader - but it was not able to download matching subtitle instead it downloaded wrong susbtitle - so had to use SPlayer as it gives the option which subtitle file to download - tomorrow I'll test UMplayer - downloaded the portable version.

it supposed to but it can't just do it .. seriosuly is there any such software available which can automatically sync subtitle with audio ??

anyway, tried UMplyer and as it's using Mplayer as it's engine all of the functionality is similar SMPlayer - only a few shortcut chnages here and there and the interface is a little bit easy to use. The subtitle download functions same as SMplayer.

no player can automatically sync subs with audio.usually you don't need to sync subs either for almost 90% of the cases if you search just a bit carefully for subtitles.for those cases where you do need to sync subs players like potplayer are very useful because they have single key function for modifying subs timing(+,-,reset in increment of 0.5sec) so it is just a matter of pressing keys whenever subs go out of sync.

KM Player is the best video player out there. its gui is friendly as hell and its fast too..

just dl subtitles from subscene.com [check for comments on sync quality] and rename them to the same name as the video you are playing. alternately, you could open subtitles from the gui too.

btw, why would you use Cyberlink player???
