How to get Sub titles?

I like to search for subtitles on sites like opensubtitles, by filtering it with the framerate of the actual video. Gives me greater chance to find subtitles which are synced.
And to answer OP's question, yea, just rename the subtitle with the same name of video (of course not the extensions), and play the video on VLC. You can also adjust the sync of subtitle by pressing G and H (delay and gain sync).

^^potplayer has more features since it is created by the same guy who created kmplayer & later sold kmplayer to pandora TV.you do need to dl the english version from this site though as official version is in korean:

yeah KM player is originally korean, but all the versions that i have dl'ed through the years from the official site were english. i think there is a lang selector before dl'ing prompt.
