when u have 50 PC and have licanse for 25 PCs... and other 25 runs on illigal windows... then it would be called 50% legal i guess... isnt it...

My Windows XP is theoretically illegal and practically legal. But still I hate updating it! I find no use...especially when I have Kaspersky around. And that too when I wrote guide on saving windows xp updates on hard drive and CD!!

I update using Microsoft Update & all the softwares needing update (Adaware, Orbitron) every Sunday (Except AVG which auto updates - avast! needed manual updates but i switched to AVG a week back).

Even though I have Genuine XP I have disabled autoupdates coz I dont want IE7,WMP 11, Dotnot framework etc and other such stuff which I really dont need. I want to see what M$ installs on my PC besides it allows driver updates etc.

I have a genuine WinXP Media Center PC, which i used 2 update beforehand but I dont do it these day's as I can have the autopatcher & Its a big pain on dial-up.

yeah on dialup its sure is but what you get from AUTOPAtcher is not that fine what you get from AUTOMATIC ONLINE UPDATES.. ITS MY VIEW

I dont want my windows to act that smart and do things on its own..So i hv made sure that automatic updates,windows firewall and security center are disabled on my system

Every Thursday even though i dont use Windows at all, but had to do it bcoz my sisters use Windows.
