Even I'm Playing this and the menu system felt something new ;-)

The upgrade system and machines feels a lot like Singularity ;-)

^^More like doom where you wade through hordes of enemies, point and click on consoles to proceed further.

Choosing upgrades is fun and one must choose wisely.

which default weapon, the CLN firearm ?

Use NRG firearm on bots.
Upgrade first option in shock blaster and Electric Mortar.

For CLN firearm
Get all upgrades for Shotgun. I never bothered to upgrade anything else there

For Combat Gear
Get the position sensor (NANO sensor is not needed and waste of credits)
Upgrade everything else in the Combat Gear updrages as soon as possible.

CLN firearm (Assault rifle) is useful for boss fights to quickly target the weak points.

NRG Electric mortar is highly effective against the bipedal robots.

NRG Shock Blaster is effective against these (use shotgun for berserkers)

Shotgun for little critters (shock blaster is a good alternative too)

Assault rifle if you want to blow sh!t up like barrels etc.

It's a hit or miss. If you like old school shooters then you will love this.

Nothing exceptional about story. I don't remember if there was a story. Lacks enemy variations. Not scary at all.

Not enough boss fights. Though Atlas and Constructor fights were pretty good.

Liked the seamless transition during interaction with objects (just like doom 3). Excellent visual effects and dynamic lighting. Graphics and presentation is better than anything I have recently played.

Upgrade system is where you can derive the re-playability. Though I don't have time to replay it again. Well chosen upgrades can actually make the game easy.

Finally Installed this game yersterday...

I agree with topgear...Menu system is innovative & sci-fi type also the upgrade system of singularity..

I liked the comical presentation of dialogues (while the game loads)
graphics is excellent & also the sound effect...
city is also designed well..

the bottom left status icons reminds me of Serious Sam..
but I will miss the one liners of serious sam in this game

I didn't upgrade any heavy weaponry. The electric discharge and the assault rifle upgrades were enough for this game. Upgraded health and shield recharge completely.
