Re: Comiz is Suse 10.3?

You need to "Mount" the Windows partitions to view them :)

/dev/hda1 /c ntfs defaults,user,ro,umask=002,gid=100 0 0
/dev/hda2 /d ntfs defaults,user,ro,umask=002,gid=100 0 0

These lines to be included to mount Windows Partitions

/etc/fstab <--- add them to this file.

Plz Note that You have to replace hda1 and hda 2 with the respective partition values and also dont forget to create "C" & "D" directories in "/" before adding those commands to fstab.

fstab is like Autoexec.bat of windows :D

Compiz I cant help as I never use Suse :$

also replace "ntfs" with "vfat" if your partitions are Fat or Fat32

See here, its very easy

*en.opensuse.org/Compiz_Fusion#openSUSE_10.3

Or follow these
1. Enable 3D graphics
2. Do a One-click Install for KDE or GNOME,
3. give the following command in a root shell
Code:
gnome-xgl-switch --enable-xgl
4. Then, also in the same root shell,
Code:
rcxdm restart

Tell me if you find any difficulty

No need to edit any files to mount the partitions.

Just open YaST, open the partitioner and check all the ntfs partitions as mountable by user and mount at startup.

Save and exit.

OK, that is easy.

Open Nautilus, select the directory you want to add in the list.

Now click on add bookmark from the main menu. Youre done.

I know you added that line and it says restart X server which is done each login or by ctrl+alt+backspace. Have you got it working or not?

And try reinstalling kscreenshot?
