Which is the basic card that you are planning to add on? In any case it's safe to settle for a "basic" 400Watts PSU either from Zebronics or Powersafe. This would help in the future as well depending on what components you are planning to add later on.;)

I have no future outlook as the GPu will be my last upgrade.

Pee into the Wind...
Get a psu with more than 20a on +12v railing if u plan to buy even a basic GPU.ur current PSU has just 15a and it is nothing much really.

I recently got a new powersafe 400W psu wid 26a on +12v railing for just rs.1550.as far as psu is concerned i don't think any decision-making is required....just get in the shop, ask for a reputed brand and get it

a 400 w psu zeb if possible.always buy nvidia cards if your planning to use on linux.amd ati support is not yet seriously good in Linux.u can see my thread in open source section reg the same.lastly i bought one xfx 7300GT dual dvi(in its cover written it needs @tleast 400W psu!) which perfectly works with linux. :)
VIA gfx and amd ati sucks when it comes to linux although work-arounds are available(less than perfect :( )

7300GT rocks though i am not into gaming.i bought a ddr-II 256MB dedicated two months back that time it was RS3950/- all inclusive.now it can be had for 3.5K afaik.consider getting a higher one with GT at the end.
