yeah.. we already having galaxy advacne replacing sgr n s2 plus ..
so u can see a price drop in high end fones..

nt sure abt any quad core release [btw 1st quad core will arrive from htc]

u can see galaxy nexus prime is also delayed till march 17 ..

Btw if u r in hurry u can buy s2 anyday..

im thinking about buying a smartphone within 30k
i just want to know are there any options comparable to the galaxy S 2 i want a phone with a good balance of a pmp, a camera and computing power.

Also are there any new releases lined up for the next 1 or 2 months or so which are worth waiting for, my biggest concern is not ending up with old hardware with new stuff in the market.

MAXX is designed for Verizon only. it has a massive battery cause LTE is a battery hogger.

also Motorola Razr or the MAXX is not worth it. Galaxy S2 or Note is priced lower.

S2 is available for 27,800 on 'Buytheprice'.
Xperia S will certainly not be in the 30k range, it ll be above 35k for sure. If Sony can sell a single core arc S for 28k why would they sell a 12mp cam,dual core Xperia S for 30k ?

till now not heard of any unlocked version of MAXX. As Razr cost 30k+ so MAXX undoubtedly will cost 35k or more if available locally. maybe more as Motorola doesn't care about pricecuts and all here.

Thanks all i think the s2 seems like the best option, the only question that remains is whether the prices are gonna drop in early march i think im gonna wait till then and hopefully nothing new and better is gonna show up

Even i am waiting for the price drop of S2.
But today i read an article which says the new GT-I9100G is inferior to GT-I9100. Now that has got me all worried as it will be very hard to find the old version after a price drop. S2 was special because of its chipset and gpu and now with that replaced will it still be the same ?

guys spark on...am reading your comments everyday and am trying to decide the best phone to buy and yea also value for money and performance....i will also wait for a while to get a decent phone with my limited money...but i have a feeling it will be worth it...

Well all the online portals are now selling the G version. Our only hope is the local stores, but i doubt if they would have any over time.
Price drop may be next month after the arrival of Galaxy nexus which would be prices @30k as per igyaan.
Btw, there has been a price drop of 2k for Galaxy S plus. It is now available for 20.5k on Flipkart.

Has anyone ever bought a phone from ebay? and do you guys think it is safe to buy from ebay? i personally have never bought anything from ebay, especially something that expensive, also the phone listing says that the seal is broken but the item is unused and brandnew, how would i make sure if the phone is unused ????

DO NOT BUY IF IT SAYS USED.

eBay rules when buying mobiles:

1. Buy from sellers with 98.5%+ rating.
2. Atleast 500+ ratings.
3. Ratings for last 30 days should not have more than 2 negative reviews.
4. Listing must say Manufacturer warranty and bill.
5. If price looks too low(say a 3-4k drop below all others), then stay away.

And yes, I have bought from ebay, but 4/5k phones, never 30k phones, for that use flipkart or letsbuy only.

I have bought a few phones costing around 5k or so and recently I have bought my Macbook Pro form ebay.
So check before you buy.Call the seller on the given contact no. and if it is not given then just ask seller's contact no. by messaging him on ebay.
And the seller must have a rating for around 95% with atleast around 100 feedbacks and if the seller is having 100% rating with around 50 feedbacks then also you can buy from the seller.
And yes get a Manufactured warranty product will bill and apart form that a sealed product must be preferred.
