Buying a new phone - budget 20k

Grand is better than L9 according to me because:
- Better camera
- Jelly Bean preinstalled
- Samsung's touchwiz UI(Multi window, Better notification panel, ...)
- Dual SIM
- Samsung's after sales support is better than LG (Be it providing updates or finding service centres)

I am buying a phone, my budget is 20k, can extend to 21, 22 if needed.

I need a nice phone, any suggestions?

I am not in favour of any Android or Apple phones.

With the right reasons I will chose the phone.

Wait for lumia 620.its a very good phone for 15k..

When budget is 20k, then why go for a 15k phone. Lumia 620 is priced at around 15k. Lumia 720 would be released soon with price tag of 18k approx.

Grand is better than L9 according to me because:
- Better camera- Agreed but 5MP of L9 is decent enough. And its smartphone not digital camera
- Jelly Bean preinstalled- LG will release jellybean for L9 soon. And L9 with jellybean will just fly
- Samsung's touchwiz UI(Multi window, Better notification panel, ...)- LG's Optimus UI is butter smooth like Jellybean. LG L9 has good notification panel as well.
- Dual SIM- Most of the smartphone comes with single sim like S3, 4XHD, Note II. Only Chinese smartphone comes with dual-sim
- Samsung's after sales support is better than LG (Be it providing updates or finding service centres)- Don't agree with you here either

Another point I want add Grand is overpriced device for the specs offered like low resolution screen, low PPi.

Although I quite agree with your points, but i couldnt agree with some

LG doesnt have official Jellybean yet, so its another +1 for Grand
Touchwiz may be a little resource consuming but Multiwindow is waaaaaaaaay better than so called Optimus UI.. Heck it's even better than sense..
Dual sim- So what if it was invented by Chinese ? Samsung aint no cheap chinese company.. Dual Sim will always be 2XSingle Sim, no matter how you put it..Some people really need it and find it too cumbersome to carry two phones

BTW L9 has it's own fair share of goodness like Higher Resolution screen.. A few days back I would have also recommended L9 but after having a hands on with Galaxy Grand.. I was blown away from what it has to offer..
The multiwindow especially is really worth paying
BUT I wouldnt pay more than 20K for Grand if I were you OP.. so find a better deal
PS: Chipset of Grand is better than L9
PPS: S2 + is gonna launch soon, so you might want to check it out.. Its gonna be cheaper than grand

I said decent camera for L9 but we all buy smartphones not only for camera at-least for me. And developing current Os for old device takes time and money so you have wait for it as Grand is new device than L9 so they directly gave Jellybean out of the box.

Look dude dual-sim for smartphone isn't any advantage. lol I didn't said Samsung is Chinese brand and I haven't used cheap word any where. I mean to say most of the smartphones are single sim.

You used LG's Optimus UI before? I bought L9 for hardware it packed as well as the new fast UI

I dont see why it shouldnt.. I tried both Note 2 and Grand at a shop, no noticeable difference in the Multiwindow feature between both or am I missing something ?

Proof please ? Every benchmark, every game I see Grand fares better..
Antutu, Quadrant, you name it..
IT might have been because of resolution difference though

But I have to say Grand's display is Grotesque.. L9 is much better at this

^^Its only because lower resolution screen. Samsung Galaxy Y also has videocore gpu although grand has dual-core gpu. PowerVR SGX540 on L9 is far better
For example- If HD7750 produces a 65 fps in crisis 3 in 1024*768 resolution and HD 7850 produces 35 fps in full hd resolution. You will say 7750 is better?

Whatever the benchmarks say.... Grand is winner according to me due to earlier mentioned reasons....(As far as Dual SIM is considered, what is the problem in having this great feature. OP can use 2 SIMs: One AirTel & other Aircel, say, Airtel gives coverage everywhere & Aircel has cheaper call tariffs, net packs. I'm using two phones for this reason)

And whatever you say by looking on the benchmark, I will still say L9 SoC is better than grand . And L9 costs 16.5K in infibeam.com and by price/performance ratio L9 @16.5K is far-far better than grand @21.5K. Xperia SL will just blow away @22K

-Easy to carry than 5 inch phaplet

-Smooth Optimus 3.0 UI

Fully agree with you buddy. Lumia 620 is very good and capable windows phone. Its not essential that you have to spend your highest budget.

Well gaming performance, browsing and everything else.. benchmarks tell half the story, Asus TF700 had great benchmarks later i found out it was very laggy and users were not happy with it
