The Sonics are selling like hot cakes these days, hard to find one. My friend tried for a month and gave up, so as a alternative I suggest the Saphire HD4850:)
HD4850.. Just that **** and not less than that.. I suggest to get any HD4850 and if its available, then go for Sonic Edition.

bought Palit HD4850 for 9250/- at Bhumika Computers, CTC.
So the price I mentioned was right, finally

I think by 35k for processor he means 35k for whole CPU.;)

1. E8400 @ 7500
2. MSI P45 NEO-F@ 6000
3. Transcend 2GB 800Mhz @ 1800
4. CM 500W/600 or Corsair 450W @ 3000
5. GFX Card : Palit HD 4850 @ 9500
6. Cabinet : Zebronics Bizli/lava @ 1400
7. Hard Disk: WD 640GB @ 3600
8. Speaker Creative SBS 2.1 @ 1200
9. Keyboard/mouse Logitech/microsoft 700

Total Cost: 34700
now I think you will get these things a bit cheaper then mentioned.

If you want a total gaming machine then the components red font are must don't go less then this.

You know the E7200 is also a good option for a 30k budget.

And FYI, real time gaming, you won't get much difference between them both, the E7200 and E8400, make sure you overclock the E7200to 3.2GHz(piece of cake) and it'll perform at par with the E8500

Overclocking requires a custom cooler, use that money to get the E8500, should prove worthy in a few months.

Get a E8400+MSI P45 Neo-F + Transcend 800MHz 4GB RAM (2x2GB) + Palit HD4850 Sonic + WD Caviar 640GB + LiteOn LH-20-A1P + CM 600W PSU + CM EliTe 330 cabinet + Logitech Multimedia Keyboard + Logitech MX518 + Dell 198WFP + Altec Lansing BXR1121.

If you plan to OC, get an aftermarket cooler. Preferably the ThermalRight Ultime 90i.

Nice config, but could I suggest E8500 at 1k more?
Also LG/Samsung drives are better than Lite-ON drives, got one, the drive motor burned up, replaced it, then the tray got stuck.I'm sick of them.:x:mad:

The price of the custom CPU cooler is .........?
Add it to the price of E7200 and voila, get E8500.

E8500 beats E7200 always:- *www.legitreviews.com/article/690/12/
If you overclock, the E8500 can go 4.2 GHz at Air, but E7200 3.5-3.8 max at Air.

4GHz:shock::shock:, let me tell you, you'll have one burnt processor unless you have a 5k liquid cooling drawing some serious power, even so 4GHz is impossible on E7200(3.8 max).

E8500 has no comparison in the C2Dual catagory(besides E8600) only some C2Quad can beat it and in gaming it blast away.

Price difference is 0.8k in my city.

E8500/(Alright)E8400 is better than E7200 anyday.

^^No, comp@ddict is right. And the price of the cooler that I mentioned is around 1.5-2k :D.

And E8400 is better for 1k less. He can easily OC E8400 w/out a cooler to E8500's range :).

E7200 4GHz on Air cooling?:shock: He'll burn the CPU, max 3.4-3.6GHz on Air cooling.
And that's one heck of a good CPU cooler, thinking of getting it recently(To overclock an much awaited E8500 to 4.0Ghz):D

For graphic card HD4850 look only for models from Palit. Others haven't solved their heating problem yet.
And choose processor according to your budget. All the three 7200, 8400, 8500 are best value at their price. Higher you buy is much better. but I personally feel 8400 has much VFM. And 1000 is not a small amount you can add this amount on ram, PSU or something else.

by the way guys whats the actual output of Corsair 450W?

I'm not sure but someone in this forum mentioned that it can go max 550w if required and is extremely efficient, why don't you start a thread and name it something like-"best SMPS at 3k", then we'll know.

Point Blanc
AC power has peak and low, so better SMPS try to minimize this peak and low. And that is why corsair is better. And also the efficiency is better

No doubt. +1 for that;)

The Corsair 620w CMPSU620HX has Triple 12v rails giving 50A total at 85% efficiency at max load constant, beat that Cooler Master Fanboys:D
