i called the BSNL ppl few days ago, they said internet sharing between multiple computers are not allowed for Dataone Home plans. Also, in the website these plans are listed with "SU" or single user mark.

So does it mean sharing the home plan between 2 of home computers is illegal  ? or the above sayed conditions mean something different ?

I know quite a few people who share the Internet connection. I really don't see what the problem is if theres a restriction on the amount of data that can be downloaded.

If one uses the connection, for any non commercial use, ie- sharing between home computers, then it is not illegal.

But the people at BSNL make even the smallest of issues very big problems.

Especially their infamous Error no 678, they just keep on calling all day and tell you to make a new connection, reset the modem and try again and again and again, till you are fed up !!!!!!!

^And your point is?? I was just hinting to the OP that a lot of people are quietly sharing their BB connections at home.
