Although 1k seemed to be large amount, but IDM deserved it. Plus it didn't cost total 1k in the first place. As for the return, I would suggest instead of asking everyone's account details, people who would prefer can just ask for Flipkart voucher. So I will reply you my email address, and you can just return whatever amount is left, on that email ID. Hassle free. Of course only for those who would want the amount in FK voucher. So how must amount will be returned anyway?

1. Guys, one small question. i am goin to activate IDM on my current OS Win7. But next month i will be switching to Win10 for sure, will they allow me enter the same key again?? If not then i will use this key only after installing Win10.

Please note that IDM has per computer license. In order to use IDM on several computers at the same time please obtain licenses for each one. If you use the same serial number on several computers it will be blocked automatically and you will have to purchase a new license.

You can however use IDM on several operation systems installed on the same computer.

If you need to change your computer and want to transfer IDM, you just need to uninstall it from old computer and then install and register on a new one. In this case serial number will not be blocked.

If you often reinstall your system on the same computer, please download and install the latest version of IDM. It has additional binding to the hardware and will not block your serial number if you use it on one computer. Also it is always better to use the same computer name after each reinstall.

2. What about if I change computer?? I will switch to desktop in future. Will the same key work?

Answer for both queries :

AFAIK, IDM key is linked to your email id. If you use same Email ID+IDM Key combination to register IDM in any new system/OS, earlier installed copy will stop working. I have seen same email ID+IDM key combination working fine in two different machines simultaneously. IDM is not that strict for valid licences.
