Hello

I am going to buy two android phones , one within 10k and other in ~15k.
For 10k I'd shortlisted sony xpeia mini
and ~16k sony xperia U.
Can You please tell whether these are right choices and suggest other phones too..

for 10k, its fine but for 15k: Defy Plus or XT (but XT is overpriced), Xperia Neo V (cost ~17k).

isn't xperia U a good choice?

are you ok with the limited 4GB user memory?

PS: 4 GB is for user. ~2GB for apps.

Xperia U has got great looks and dual core processor but 4GB memory is quite less, if you still think you are ok with it then go for it, because I would be at your place I wouldn't have bought a phone with so less memory storage.
For 16k Neo V is a good option.

that will look super odd. a pendrive hanging from a mobile.

HA HA HA...Just imagine a phone with a pen drive hanging to it...LOL :-D

The problem with storage is that it fills up before you even realize. :(
