EXIT: DATA Junkyard
Finally, a mid-high spec card @ mid range price. Times have changed fellows.
Although, I don't think any of the 98xx cards should have been given that name(they should have been 8900 cause 9800GTX & 9800GTX+ fail to beat 8800Ultra!), we've got a sweet new card @ 8.3k.
That's right folks, the new 9800GT is available @ 8.3k while the price of 9600GT has been pushed down to less than 7.4k!
So, if the 9600GT manages 6-6.5k in another 1 month and with the 9500GT @ 4.5k(should come down to less than 4k!), then we'll have a wide range of performing cards at the sub Rs. 10,000 barrier for the first time. Isn't that gr8
Remember the days when you had to pay 15k for a 6600GT and through your pockets for FX5900 and 6800Ultra? Those days are finally gone.
P.S.- I should mention that if you want sheer performance, then don't go for anything below a 4850 or a 9800GTX+.
Current GPU market prices:
9800GTX+ @ 12.5k
4850 @ 11k
9800GT @ 8.3k
9600GT @ 7.5k
GTX 280@ 30k
GTX 260 @ 19k
4870 @ 18k
