Hi..
A friend of mine is looking to buy 5.1 speakers for his medium sized hall.. Would like to, quote, "shake the room".

His budget is 10k. Right now have the Logitech Z506 in consideration. What do you guys recommend?

Will only be used for music so not sure if 5.1 is the way to go too..

Please recommend

Z506 will hardly shake itself..
Room to dur ki baat hai..
75w rms...

Get something at least with 120w rms

^Bhai 10k me koi acha 5.1 speaker nahi ata hai.
4.5 lakh mein alto aata hai...
Hayabusa 7 lakh mein aata hai..

Depends on the op requirements and budget constraints..
Just coz alto isn't a good car doesn't mein he has to get the a luxury bike

I wouldn't go by the RMS rating always for shaking things up.

The MX5021 had 90W RMS but was the best sounding speaker i've ever experienced.

Edifier DA5000 is a decent buy sub10k. F&D F6000 is good.

Z506 isn't recommended if your budget is 10000.

Any other suggestions?

If music is what you want, 2.1 is the way to go. 5.1 is good for movies and games. you'd get top notch quality 2,1 speakers at 10k.

Phillips dsp75u 5.1. It will shake your house down. It's powerfull, it's got a remote, fm, sd and pendrive reader.
Works as a standalone speaker system as well.
Go for that. It's pretty good, if you can get your hands on one.
