The noting down things you eat is a good idea. Instead of posting in the forum, you could list them in your own diary. Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner - Any extra food items consumed during the day.

If you do this daily for 1 month, you reach Nirvana and you realize where are you going wrong. This is what you will be suggested if you visit a good dietitian before he (usually, a good looking she) modifies your diet.

Make a habbit of knowing calories of everything you eat.
Make a habbit of knowing how much calories you will loose if you do certain activities.

Any imbalance in the above will result either in a weight gain or loss.
