yup, I also like Malai + Cheeni + Chapati. Dried chapatis are also great.

Another thing which I like is: Malai + Onion + Tomato + Bread.

First you make a paste comprising of Malai + Onion + Tomato. Then add a little bit of ghee and spread the paste on and around a bread slice. Then heat on a Tawa.

Tastes better than a Pizza. Pizzas are yuck.

Am I the only one who hates sugar here? ;)

All right, I don't like a lot of things :D , one thing I like is Dahi Chawal. FTW.

well, I'm not much savvy about oil. :p Currently having Shakkar + Chawal + Ghee mixed in a big bowl.
I was always confused about the two, boora and shakkar. why does boora is not bhura and shakkar is not white

I also got the taste of first curd rice when I landed in Bangalore 7 years ago. It tastes awesome and light for the stomach and helps beat the heat. But still the curd rice I had from my Andhra friends tasted best!!!

I'll definitely try that. I had also stopped eating pizza because they need to be gulped down using some soft drink (atleast for me) but then Domino's thin crust and double cheese bursssssssst lured me in...again :)

That site is like my gym coach who says jogging generates man's b00bs and potatoes contain fats. The more Indians adopt western lifestyle, the more they are getting diabetes, cancer and heart attacks. Now these macaulayites want to demean the Indian food too. :(

exactly!!! they are taking advantage of the tolerance of Indian people to an extreme level. these buggers should be stuffed with topping-less pizza bread for their entire lifetime.

Well said by the way :)

@mediator: I have never heard if man and b00b thing related to jogging before :|. Are you serious? I mean did that guy really said that?

One of my friend quit push-ups because his gym instructor said it may increase his belly as while going down belly also stretches!!!
Unbelievable people

@Gagan : Yeah man, I was flabbergasted coz of his comment. He himself has massive b00bs. These gym coachs only know how to sell suppliments and steroids. One of my friends who had big biceps (you could make out he took suppliments) now is back to square one because he left gymming for 2 months with side effects galore : Diminishing hair line, both b00bs and belly grown out, depression and lack of articulation.

On the other hand we have rural haryanvis, above 6 feet eating galebis, more than 10 paranthas, "asli" doodh and what not? All natural and still have flat framework, naturally built shoulders and chest with pride speaking in volumes. Do I need to say about arm wrestling with these guys?

Western lifestyle is polluting Indians both mentally and physically! :(

Well Western Fast food = JUNK
Oily Indian foods are just unhealthy if you don't do the corresponding work for it.

@Liverpool_fan: completely agree.

Not only in Haryana, but in UP too the same trend is observed. My grandfather used to drink around 2 ltrs of milk everyday. They used to prepare all sweets during diwali/holi in pure ghee and still maintain a lean body.

Edit: I can only have a coffee mug full of milk (250 ml) a day.

I think we should start a thread where you can post pics of what you had in breakfast/lunch/supper/dinner. Genuine pics clicked by camera!

It's a good way to know about different kind of foods. I'd really like to know that. Once my friend told me about Momos, I am yet to try that.

Really man! What was the Point of that article! Maybe that article's name was written in an ironic way! Whatever, it contains some of my most fav foods, like Chole Bhature !!! Yummy. Vada Pao, Shahi Paneer!!! Just WAO! SAMOSA! OMG, Just had a bunch of them at everning! Gulab Jamun... Now I am done torturing me! :p

Btw, ico had some really great recipies shared here. Would try it sometime.
But, I don't know why, I don't stand the smell of momos, so usually avoid it. The name, "momos" too sounds non-veg

Back to school!!
I used to eat almost all of these everyday except sweets and add to them about 1 bar of cadbury each alternate day, ended up weighing 78kgs @ 5'8", had 4 attacks of acute pancreatitis and off to totally healthy lifestyle now, I for one believe the list is correct.

Damn I feel hungry.
