I have decided to buy a new android smartphone. However my budget is only 12k.
My main requirements is that the phone should have android 2.3 or higher and should have good battery life and display. Camera doesn't really matter. Also I won't be using custom ROMs or doing anything that might void the warranty.

I just placed an order for Dell XCD35 on flipkart after reading positive reviews. It's available for Rs 8100/-. I hope it's a good choice.
i have a budget of about
1) 11-12k.
i want a smart phone , basically media phone mostly to be used for music..video streaming(youtube mostly) and a good camera(around 5mp if possible) and a screen size >= 3.2" preferably 800 or more precessor, adreno graphics and most importantly A GOOD AFTER SALES SERVICE OR BUILD. android 2.3.3
second one(this is a seperate case)
2) this one goes down to 10k
an android pone with a good resolution and media support, hopefully a decent cam, and a good processor.
plz give me somee real good advices as i have already been robbed (by a shopkeeper as he sold me a shitty phone) .. and i had a lot of hearing to do from my parents when my phone left me in modway... hopefully my trust n digit helps me look at my phone with pride and not guilt of being in a hurry....
i have a one month waiting time.(i cant wait longer)..

any Android based mobile will fulfil your requirement perfectly. for 10k or less only 3 good options are there: Optimus One, Optimus Net & Dell XCD35. XCD35 is not made by Dell but by ZTE, so not sure how good is build quality & what kind of service Dell will offer if theres any problem. Else go for Net as Optimus One is getting old & is priced higher.

Too be honest I wanted to go for LG Optimus one since using the coupon I will get it for Rs 8500 but if the LG Optimus Net if available will cost around 10k.
I was also considering Samsung Galaxy Pop to an extent Samsung Galaxy Fit(this crosses my budget of 10k). I preferred Samsung Galaxy Pop over LG Optimus ME.
Kindly let me know which one should I go for.
LG optimus One(little older now but still considered best for the price)
LG Optimus Net(worth spending 1.5k more for one which is still new)
Samsung Galaxy Pop(Display etc looked good to me but based on your earlier posts you were not recommending this.)

Both Galaxys are not worth considering, when you put Optimus One and Net against them.
If I were you (+ 10k), I would simply go for Optimus Net.
Net & One both are priced same, but Net provides you with +200Mhz. And most of all, my city is flooded with Optimus One, so something different would be nice

Too be honest I don't like LG products. But based on the opinions of the people here in this thread I decided to go for it.
Now you people are putting me in dilemna whether I should go for Optimus one or Optimus Net.
Ideally wouldn't want budget to go over 9k unless its really worth putting the extra bucks.
Is LG Optimus Net available online?
