Mi 10400mah powerbank hands down
it uses samsung/LG cells and Texas Instruments controller and is a very safe and vfm bet

Using an mi pb 5200 mah pb. It gives output of 3000 mah. So I guess a 10400 mah will give 6000 mah output at best. Still its a pretty good buy considering the price. Build quality is good.

Guys sorry for going offtopic. Does regular charging of phone using power banks effect the phone battery in anyways?
Both smartphones at my home take around 2 hrs using regular charging from power socket and I don't want to leave it charging overnite using power socket.

i dont think so
however mi's 10400mah powerbank charges phones and tablets using 2.0A whereas most phones only have 1.0A wall chargers so it charges twice as fast
2.0A is fast and convenient but ive heard it affects battery health in the long run
the mi 5200mah charges at 1.0-1.5A not 2.0A so i went for the 10400mah one instead

Who cares at the end of two years or so many of us will be changing the battery or even putting the phone back in its box.

basically li-ion batteries tend to heat up a bit more with 2.0A charging but it depends on various factors like phone type etc
usb regulations ensure that even with a higher rated charger, the micro usb slot will only accept the max ampere as by the oem you most likely wont end up frying gadgets but the battery may still degrade a bit faster thanks to heat
ill try and look for the post later,i saw this in xda a few months ago
btw i wont worry about it much because by the time the battery will shows obvious signs of degradation ie 3-4 years or more, the phone will have already been replaced/lost/broken or something :D
