Re: Mobile Buying Guide: May 2013

I am looking for phone for wifey. Our priorities are:

1. atleast 1 GB RAM.
2. At least 4" inch screen.
3. good after sales service.
4. Atleast 1 Ghz proccy.
5. Budget 30K max can extend few bucks. I want to see her happy.
7. if possible light on hand like 140gm max.
8. the phone should not hang at all like iphone.

I already have iphone 4. and don't want to go for apple again. Good after sales service is must.

Yes, just in the Gpu department and nothing else. If your wife doesn't game then one x + wins in every other department.

My friend had some issue with his phone, he sent it and he got a replacement in 15 days. I'm not sure if it should be called good.

if you think from the POV of architecture, definitely yes.

Cool, so if it falls within my budget and I find a demo model Ill try to get this then or i'll probably get L9. Just want to see if the screen is large enough

Re: Mobile Buying Guide: May 2013

I know this is an outdated phone, but I'm really interested in getting a Nokia N9 for ~18k. Any non-android alternatives that also support FLAC files (either natively or via downloadable applications)? Price is not important BTW.

The only ones fitting this bill that I know of are Symbian 3 phones.

Please do not suggest android because I do not like the OS.

L9 if you can find for 15-16k. with the recent release of Galaxy Win and customers getting fooled by its quadcore tagline, L9 should get another hefty pricecut.

Re: Mobile Buying Guide: May 2013

Sam & other members , the scariest part of buying a phone is when you bought a phone & then get to know that the phone is stolen one that thing happened with my friend , so how can one know that the phone is real ? sam i think i will get l9 for 15000 to 16000 in gaffar market so should i buy from there considering it is a notorious market ???
