Cant say anything till the pricing is revealed
But expected price is around 30-35k so i didnt find anything compelling in it except wireless charging ;)
So in that range going for galaxy s3 would be better

@ op

920 is a great phone. If you want to go the win 8 way, then 920 is great choice actually.
Win 8 seems like a big hit and lots of devices are considering it. Major threat to both IOS and android.

Btw what's your budget?

It was launched yesterday. MRP is Rs 38000. Wireless Charger is an optional accessory, which will be available next month. No details on pricing.

check the phone in a nokia store, and get it via ebay global easy buy.. you can manage the 4g version for about 30k... which is a steal

obviously no warranty..

I also thought the same initially, but after reading the GSMArena review I was kinda disappointed.
So read it once before buying.

What is the disappointing thing?
I read the review the day it came out and didnt find anything particularly disappointing.. I like WP8 and that being clear now, I find it a very nice phone..

And regards to pricing, its already available at ~36.5k

If you want a window 8 phone then this is the only choice but if you want the best out there then you can easily save 4-5 k. Galaxy s3 is quad core with better screen, same camera, same video recording ,better battery life, better video playback support (thanks to android and MX player ) better audio quality and tons of mods from custom ROMS.

The image quality, the Camera is the backbone of 920, right?

Why would anyone buy this at 36K? Am I missing something here? Windows Mobile is OK, but specswise, is it really worth 36K? Doubt it tbh.

^Post the source.

Having two more cores doesn't essentially make previous gen soc in gs3 any better than dual cored krait !

A fix has been released already for it. Boosting sharpness and white balance. Here:
Nokia Lumia 920 camera fuzziness getting fixed in PR1.1 update

And that camera blows away everything else in low light conditions. Yes. Blows away.
See this:
From the lab: Lumia 920 low-light shootout with Nokia 808, iPhone 5, HTC One X and Galaxy S III

Better screen?? same camera??

Do you realise the 920 has a better camera, better screen, better design, better build, wireless charging and the like. And arguably smoother too?
Yeah its bulkier though. and has a relative lack of apps. But its still a very good phone, every bit as good as any other. I fr one have decided its gonna be my next phone, in a couple of months. The argument of custom ROMs is not always valid. I customise my PC for performance, but haven't found the need to upgrade my Gingerbread Xperia to ICS. Many people need a phone that just WORKS. :)

yup no 2 ways about nokia phone, if its a nokia its there for life... top notch build quality and wp8 doesnt seem to be failing... infact i used a lumia 820 yesterday and i must say the UI is beautiful and ultra smooth.
