2 dual cores are no match to quad core.
and about costs?add up yourself,you know the cost of individual items already.
If I were you I would have gone for a e4500 and a low end graphic card than for q6600.Most games\applications are graphic intensive rather than cpu intensive.Haven't seen many apps\games make use of even 80% of my c2d.

get gigabyte coz u cant OC on intel mobos.

you'll need a very good mobo to match the raw power of q6600.Get the newest x38 chipset based mobos.

xfx650i ultra has no onboard video,you'll have to buy a dedicated card.
So still I'll suggest what I suggested you in my first post,it rocks.Just try to get 8600gt or something instead of 8400gs.
