i have created an account at *www.webhoster4free.com
i have also installed the wordpress script. i am facing some problems :-

1.) I uploaded the andreas09 theme via FTP. not able to change the theme.

2.) which file is to be edited in order to use adsense. also, is it possible to use the same adsense account for more than one website?

pls help me.

1. The theme folder (entire folder, not the files separately) should be uploaded to this directory --- public_html/wp-content/themes/

After uploading login and go to Presentation

2. To insert ads in sidebar you should edit sidebar.php of your theme. If footer then footer.php. If within a post then single.php

The names of these files are mostly like this but may vary from theme to theme.

Ya you can use adsense ads on more than one site of ypurs as long the contents of those sites are conforming with Adsense rules.

i edited the sidebar file but cannot see the ads.
as for the theme, i had uploaded it in the wrong folder. now it's ok.

You have to edit the sidebar file of the theme that you are using! Are you eiditing the right file?

For normal adsense ads, there is an ad-sense plugin which you can use. In that case even if you change your theme, ads will appear BTW, I don't use that plugin and prefer to edit the pages on my own so I am not aware of any problems with that plugin
