Winamp 4

Hey guys,
Well I was looking through my hard disk.
In the softwares section I saw I had winamp 1,2,3,5.
So I decided to download the winamp4.
But it was nowhere on the net.
Also I never heard about the version.
After 3 came 5.
Where the hell did winamp 4 go?
Can anybody answer please??????

U say, u were "looking through" ur hard disk, then u say that u found winamp 1, 2, 3, 5, but cud'nt find d 4th version

Winamp 2 + Winamp 3's new skin support and additional features combinedly appeared as Winamp 5...

Wat the hell!!
This is software world not the mathematics world where 2+3 is5.

Winamp was fine upto 2.9x, after that came v3 which was not simply a continuation of 2.9x but incorporated some new techniques that was buggy and didn't work out too well.

For reasons best known to themselves, Nullsoft decided to jump to v5 and skipped 4. My guess is that they wanted to avoid confusion or wanted to create a strong impression that v5 has no connection with v3.
