Mithun's character is out, and the villian is shown too powerful physically. Kancha Cheena was a mind player...not a physical dude.

..Whats the name of the character being played by Irfan Khan?..I'm a hardcore spidey fan but I don't recollect any villain having Indian Accent. Thats gotta be a shock in the movie.

^^No dude I just saw the full list. Irfan Khan is there. His character is called as Proto-Goblin. I dunno whats a proto-goblin. The script-writer may have changed the name of Hob-Goblin to proto. One can only say after watching the movie. But this time atleast the makers are trying to get it right by bringing Gwen Stacy as Peter's first girlfriend & not MJ like the previous series. This oughta be better than the Tobey Maguire's version where it was shown that Peter had the power to produce webs from within his body, which he doesn't. He had made a contraption to do so & used a specific material to give the webs the characteristics of a Spider's web.
