It was running all right but all of a sudden now when i plug it my computer doesn't show it.:idea: Although the option to safely remove freeagent comes as soon as i plug it. I could even remove it safely. My usb drives are working properly and i have checked them by inserting other pen drive . Plz Plz help me out guys I have a lot of important data on it.:-(:-(

I am using windows 7 ultimate.

My system config is as follows:
Core2Duo E7400 @ 2.8 Ghz
2 X 2gb Kingston 800Mhz RAM
NVIDIA 8400 GS
SEAGATE 250 GB HDD
INTEL CHIPSET (don't remeber the model no)

Never give up!!
try connecting to different ports!!

oh wow...Xenforo!!!
Keep it connected and check in the bios if the system can detect the drive. If yes, just check in control panel-> adminstrative tools-> computer management-> disk management. If the drive says unallocated, format the drive.

Legend Never Ends
After plugging in the device. Go to
device manager (In run type
"devmgmt.msc") In Device
manager go to "Universal serial bus
controllers" It should list the storage
devices that you have connected
to your PC. Right click and then click
"Uninstall. Remove the USB drive
and restart your system.
Try connecting the device again, i
think this should solve the problem.

Thanx All!

I figured out the issue frm ur help. Actually it was showing hdd in manage option. I marked it active and assigned it a letter. Stupid win7 wasn't assigning it a drive letter & therefore wasn't showing it either.
