under 10k phone with best music and video player

Motorola e6 costs less then 10k ie around 9.7k if you buy the basic version that comes with 1 gb card the premium version costs around 12-12.5k which consists of 2 gb card and motorola s9 bluetooth headphones . Music player is fine and watching videos on its 2.4' screen is a delight . You can also opt for w580 which is good for music or w950 (around 9.5k without bill) but it lacks camera though it has a great music and video player.

12k was with s9 and 2gb. no shopkeeper gives the basic one they all have premium.

Here in mumbai most shopkeepers only sell the basic version since they sell s9 seperately for more profit , even in mobile store and subhiksha they prefer more on the basic version.

I think even without modding, ROKR E6 is good phone for audio/video playback. It has 3.5mm jack, music keys and good sound quality. Plus it has a large 2.4" display and since it is a smart phone you can install better players and increase the number formats it supports. None of the Symbian phones below 10k have a large display. So ROKR E6 FTW!
