[Complaint] Transcend horrible RMA

Transcend should really just decrease the prices on their products by 30% and sell without any warranty. Atleast many of us will be comfortable paying a significantly lower price without any expectation of warranty.

6 months to import from Taiwan is a joke. Even if they send by sail boat, it will take lesser time.

I RMA'd a Transcend storjet 500GB a few years ago, it took 5 months for me to get a new drive, it came in a sealed box, so I'm guessing it wasn't refurbished. But nonetheless their RMA is pathetically slow.

another brand I think should be avoided is Lexar unless we can get some info about it's distributor / importer.
