IDM is the best. Flashget and DAP have adware. IDM is the most stable. i tries Star Download Manager, DAP, Flashget but was not satisfied. IDM rules..

One application called Fresh Download is ridiculous. I once installed it by mistake and could not get rid of it. I now use Gigaget, which gives me fast downloads. I downloaded iTunes 7 on my BSNL broadband (Home 500) in under a minute using it.
