Hi All,
I am currently in a limbo as I need to decide on purchasing a new tablet.
I have shortlisted these two tablets, Milagrow MGPT04-16GB & Sony (SGPT111IN/S) Tablet S Wi-Fi, 16 GB.

My basic need is to read ebooks on the tablet and the following has been my finding of the pros and cons of both the tablets.

Milagrow MGPT04-16GB
Pros:
Amazing affordable at 14k.
Good choice of ports.
Sleek design.
ICS comes as stock OS.
Micro SD support.
SIM support so can make calls and use 3G for internet.
Has DDR3 RAM.

Cons :
Screen size is 7 in.
Resolution is very low at just 800X600.
RAM is just 512 MB.
CPU is single core 1.2 GHz.
No secondary cam , primary cam at 1.3 MP.

-------------------

Sony (SGPT111IN/S) Tablet S Wi-Fi, 16 GB
Pros:
Screen size is 9.4 in.
Resolution is good at 1280X800.
CPU is dual core 1 GHz.
RAM is 1 GB.
Primary cam is 5.0 MP.

Cons:
Stock OS is not ICS and need to upgrade to ICS.
A bit costly at 23k.
No HDMI support.
No SIM support, only WIFI as internet option.
Secondary cam is very paltry at 0.3 MP.
Battery life is not good.

So any one who has owned either of these tablets can share more pros and cons , so that I can finalise my purchasing option.

Only for eBooks its not wise spending so much on the Sony Tablet S. Might as well get Nexus 7 instead from Indiatimes @17k

Ok so based on the feedback looks like Milagrow would be the ideal option. But it has 512MB RAM, how much does this affect the overall performance?

Thanks for all the inputs. Found the Android ones a bit sluggish for loading and reading pdfs, so went ahead with iPad. :)
