Now coming to the point How good is Apple 16GB iPad Mini with Wi-Fi exchange offer ?
n I have a Explorer and Micromax Funbook P300.
I would like to exchange my Micromax Funbook 300 as they are offering rs5000.
whats ur take on it ? n how old is the apple stuff(in years, as basically they sell outdated products in India)?
Will it be a value for money?

as there are only 2 gen of iPad mini available, so its not fair to say 1st gen iPad mini is outdated. But H/W wise, it is no where near the Nexus lineup (1st gen). If you are getting it close to Nexus 7 price with exchange, get it. But the 2nd gen iPad mini is absolute VFM despite the high price.

Luking to buy a tablet as a gift to dad at the end of this month.
Voice calling, front camera, 3g must.
I did some research and found that these 3 meet my requirements.
HP Slate 7 voicetab
Asus fonepad 7
Lenovo ideapad a3000
I am more inclined towards Hp slate because of the gyro and display, but read a negative review in flipkart regarding network reception.
Which 1 should i choose?
Any other tablet that i missed?

i would like to buy a tab within 15k, i shortlisted asus fonepad 7 (16gb/3g) and dell venue 7 (16gb/3g). both are 13k in flipkart.
i liked dell bcoz of 2gb ram but asus has 5mp camera with flash. and i guess the 3g network is better in asus than dell. so i would like to knw which shld i buy. any extra info cld b very helpful.
And also i wld like to knw tht cld i use my MTS dongle in both these tab?

My main requirement is : watching movies( primary ) , occasionally playing resource intensive games like Real racing 3, asphalt 8 (secondary ), and usual stuff-browsing, editing documents,etc..(tertiary).
Also, i read somewhere that the Cellular models can use SIM only for data connection and not for calling purposes..is this true ??

If anyone has Nexus 7( 2013), can they please comment on their experience ? how is lollipop experience on N7 ??
I am planning to buy it very soon..any other good tablets are releasing within the next 2 months ?? Any news of Nokia N1 in india ??

My n7 2012 died in Oct 2014 and I purchased 2013 edition and since then enjoying it. Unlocked bootloader right after purchase and will root it soon.

SAM, bored with my HP SLATE 7 VOICE TAB. hp just made a trash. sold it. want to buy a new android tab around 15k. attracted to MI PAD. though there is no cellular facility, I can manage it with portable wifi. but please tell me does it really matters the absence of GPS in it ? or please suggest me a tab within my budget.

i don't think dualsim is possible but look for the upcoming Zenpad 7.

Don't bother with HP. First of all, unlike laptops, HP tablets are all rebranded with either too high price or too poor specs. And absolutely no update what so ever. Go for Dell, Asus or Xiaomi.
