cards which i have looked so far are - ati hd 5450 , 6450 , 4650 .. nvidia gt520 , gt 210 .

HD 5450 is a preety old card. For 2.5k GT-520 is the best option. But as others have suggested you better spend 500bucks more and get the GT-240 1GB DDR5. Its the min requirement for gaming these days.

GT240 is absolutely worth the pricetag now. at 3.2k, at least you can game for another 3yrs if you keep the resolution same.

@ OP - increase the budget a little and get the GT240 1GB GDDr5 as suggested by others or else @ 2.5k you have to opt for GT520.

GT 240 the way to go...Great Value for money...Do try to raise some extra funds and go for the DDR5 model rather than the DDR3 IF YOU CAN !

go with an old 4850 or an 8800gt or a gt240. You can find the old ones at any forum.

I recommend saving money and buy a 5670 HD 1GB GDDR5, if you cannot wait then atleast get GT 240(GDDR5 version) as suggested by others
