Get any 2nd hand 9800gt or gt240 will be cost around 2-2.5k.And don't spend that much money on physx card rather invest on dedicated graphics card.

This card is capable enough to run PhysX of all the current games. I am having XFX version of this card and can play games like Batman Arkham City and Asylum, Alice Madness returns, Metro 2033, Mafia II with PhysX setting set to highest.

he used a gtx 580 as main card .

then pared a
1.8600GTS as physx processor
2.same card as physx processor(the same main 580)
3.550Ti as physx processor
4.580 as physx processor
5.560Ti as physx processor

looking at the fps i would say don't bother invest on a new card solely for physx, it is not a cost effective idea. Better go for a single best card you can afford.


@satsworld are you going to use the card as physx processor , if yes then get the gt240.
gt430 uses more power & the gt240(gddr5) has more horse power .

IMO if you can get a second hand card like a GTS450 , get that. Otherwise no use buying these cards(one you have mentioned) new (if budget is not a problem ofcourse).

If you get a 2nd hand card like GTS 450 then you have to invest a lot in a good PSU as it has power consumption higher than a HD 6770. And avinandan012, PhysX with single GPU isn't possible with AMD cards; thats why we need dedicated PhysX card.
