Suggestion for new PC

kukudukoo

Right off the assembly line
Hi,

I am planning to buy a PC with 4-8 GB ram, 1TB hard disk, i7 processor. Pls suggest motherboard, graphic card, power supply, PC chasis, CPU coolers that would be compatible with this configuration. My budget is around 40-45K, and it would be for personal use, not for high-end gaming. Also, pls suggest a brand for 20" monitor( LCD or LED, which one would be better?), 7.1 speakers.

rgds.

those 9xx series is past now
these new SandyBridge processor are selling like hot cakes
and there is a valid reason behind it
better performance, low TDP hence cooler than the previous generations, and highly OCable

Thats a nice config, but add the Benq G2220HD instead of Dell 20" LED.

Here in bangalore Benq G2220HD cost much cheaper approx- 6.5k

why spent extra on K series if don't gonna OC ?

and why advice to get K series processor with H67 board

@kukudukoo get i5-2500 not K; Intel DH67BL@5500; BenQ H2220HD @7100 and get corsair GS600@4000 IPO vx450 And after that if anything left get HD6870.

rest of config is fine

he said may be he'll over clock
and after reading some tutorials, i'm sure he'll give it a shot

most of the beginners are afraid to do OCing because they have a doubt regarding the steps/performance/safety etc..

but I'm sure, once he gets the knowledge about OCing, he'll not gonna stay back

thats the main reason i provided him a K series processor
