Suggest best phone below 7k

I wanna buy a phone that has good sound. Camera quality is not a priority. I think Nokia 5300 XpressMusic suits my needs:
Music
Bluetooth
FM
Series40(although series60 would hav been an advantage)

Is there any other phone in this budget that has similar features. Actually i would have loved to buy the k790 but its a bit out of my budget(it's 10k, i guess) whereas 5300 is for 6k. Also should i consider the 5310?

Also i wanna know if i should buy the mobile before 1 april or after it, as the budget gets implemented?

how about classic K750i. Buy it if you want a good cam phone for less price
And after sometime you can flash it to W800i if u wish

If cam is not important, then 5300 would be sufficient for you.

imo..k750 is just a walkman-less version of the W800..i have this as a backup for my k850..and it sounds gr8..also has mega-bass.. +awesum cam..

Actually i wanna buy the phone for my sister. I own a w580 and she loves the quality of music in it. She would really love to have a walkman phone. But there seems to be no good walkman phone in my budget. I liked the w700 but it's a very old phone so i would prefer 5300 over it.

@Gigacore, i would really consider ur suggestion of the k750 but if i hav to choose from 2 phones: one with gr8 sound and one with gr8 cam, then i wud opt for the one that has good sound quality.

Plz, can some1 compare the sound quality of 5300 with k750? If it's almost on the same level then i would definitely go for the k750

Also do let me know guys whether i should buy the phone before April 1.

trust me dude..5300 doesnt come close to the k750 in terms of sound quality..in fact the k750 sounds better than sum walkman phones in the higher range...cheers..

K550 is slim nd has better looks than gud old K750i. And K550 has very gud screen quality nd the size too has improved. Cam quality of both are gud, and K550i is a fast phone with lot more features.
But the loudspeaker as well as earbut quality is s bit low compared to K750. But u can easily get around this by flashing it to W610i.

K550i is now for some 6.8k. Get an HPM-70 greymarket for some 300~350 nd its much better, but not as gud as K550 flashed to W610.

HPM-70 rocks!!! I know coz i hav a w580 Btw i wanna know if flashing k550 to w610 will void the warranty. My sis is now saying that she would prefer sound quality over cam quality and she is even ready to buy a w200 knowing that it lacks bluetooth. I m in a dilemma!

1.dont know about earphones but through speakers 5300 was louder
2. show her w300. it also has good sound quality and is better than w200
3. so what if k550 is a newer phone. k550's camera module is of inferior quality than that of k750
4. l9 is a useless phone. no point buying it.
5. k550 imode exists but i dont think it is available in india

i asked about the w300 in vijay sales near my house and they said the model has been discontinued.

is it just by comparing the photos taken by k750 and k550 that u r saying the cam module in k550 is of inferior quality than that of k750? Or is there any other proof of it?
