if u think programming is not ur piece of cake, try these fields
1. system administration and then slowly move towards
2. database administration.
do u have an inclination for databases? does SQL programming interest you?
why dont u do ur own project? instead of copying. u can do ur career based study @ the same time.
when u talk abt MCSE or a CCNA and photoshop ur talking abt two completely different worlds. see what interests u.
instead of thinking take a notebook and write down today what in computers interests u. keep reading abt it, abt jobs related to that field, daily activities of a person in that role which you are imagining etc on the net for a month.
after one month repeat the process of writing in ur notebook ... see if both matches or if there is any change in ur thinking ....
u can always get tips but u v to decide on ur own what u want to do ... gud luck
do ping if u have questions
Thank you. I know only basics in programming. Mainly C or C++. With my limited knowledge in programming the maximum I can handle is database oriented projects like information systems in ASP.NET & VB. But I can make the project looking good & professional using my little tricky skills. So I don't believe I can get a SOFTWARE based job easily. Even though I will continue to develop my programming skills smoothly no matter what my carrier is.
BUT NOW I want to learn something different (like System Administration or Network Administration or Ethical Hacking etc) in parallel to my MCA. So that when I go for a job after completing MCA, I can use it as my PRIMARY FEATURE and PROGRAMMING(or MCA) will be a SECONDARY BACKUP for me.
1. What course should I opt for system administration ? After that what should I do to move towards database administration ?
I have interests like to become a security analyst or just a computer specialist or an administrator or a technical administrator or network administrator etc.
Even-though I am not doing my project, like as I said above I will keep developing my programming skills smoothly. I am doing this because it will save little money & I can use that time to do something different to my carrier like MCSE or RHCE etc which I will in turn use as my PRIMARY FEATURE ...
Suppose if I got MCSE. Then I think it will be much easier to get a job on MCSE by showing the fact that I have a POST GRADUATION(MCA) too. Right ?
What will be the good combo with my MCA
1. MCSE
2. MCSE + CCNA (is there any need for a combo pack)
3. CCNA
4. RHCE
5. other ?
