How is nero 7? is it too different from the previous versions? i heard it has some issues. i have downloaded it but havent installed.

Some additions to my original list:-

Outlook Express (better mail composition than eudora..mayb because of encoding)

Skype - to talk to my friends

Lynx Browser - Text only browser... its fun sometimes, tho a bit tidious

Winrar - i replaced winace with this one. new winrar is good.

Rediffbol and Indiatimes Chikka messengers - Ofcourse exclusively for sms' lolll

Fixit utilities - I use it just to clean my unwanted windows registery entries.

I am thinking of installing Nero7 but i am a bit reluctant as of now.

The Nero 7 I have had is the premium cum Ultra edition with all plugins enabled.
That is better than Nero 6 and the installer you have had may be different and may be a crippled down vertion or demo.
The Nero 7 I have had support BlueRay disk too
It is much much powerful than NERO 6.
A great addtion is the Nero Vision 4. 8)
