Software for Deleting a folder

I had once made a backup of WIndows on my PC. Now I want to delete that folder but it can't be deleted as it is system files (as said by PC).

Pls tell a software to delete it.

Try Unlocker.

Unlocker would do the job. If you want to do the hard way then you can edit the security settings and delete the folder.

I tried both the above softwares but it did'nt helped.

Right click on the folder and click properties, then click the security tab and see if you have admin access to that folder. If not modify the security settings and retry.

You are trying to delete the 'Windows' folder probably created by another OS installation. Windows will not allow you to delete it even if the folder is not of the current OS. You can try a linux bootable disk.

But I don't want to format the whole drive or that partition as that part of the partition has nearly 200 GB of data which can't be transferred any where else, just want to delete the 10GB folder automatically created.

You don't have to format the drive. Just Use live linux, get in the operating system using disk. Don't install the OS and delete the folder and you are good to go.
I sometime delete the System Volume Information Folder from Linux if the size increases too much. No worries.
